Cameras Up to Show Progress

Weld County residents will soon have a new way to follow the progress of the future Weld County Justice Center from start to finish.

As demolition and construction activity ramps up in downtown Greeley, Weld County has installed two cameras to capture time-lapse footage of the construction. One camera is positioned on the Weld County Centennial building, while a second camera was installed through an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Greeley on a city-owned building at 10^th St. and 11^th Ave. to provide additional views of the site.

The cameras will document the transformation of the area over the coming months and years, giving residents a bird’s-eye view of demolition work, site preparation, and eventual construction of the new justice center.

To keep the public informed and engaged throughout the process, Weld County plans to post weekly time-lapse video updates highlighting progress on the project. The videos will provide residents with an easy way to stay connected to one of the county’s largest capital projects and see milestones unfold throughout construction.
